Touché Flooring was built on a simple belief: every wood floor deserves to be restored with care, craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Hi, I'm David, founder of Touché Flooring and, above all, a proud family man. Everything I build is with my family in mind, and that same sense of responsibility influences the way I work with every customer. I believe that inviting someone into your home is built on trust, and that's something I never take for granted.
My journey into wood floor restoration began by hiring sanding machines, where I saw first-hand how many homeowners were being disappointed by rushed workmanship and poor results. Too often, floors with real potential were left looking anything but their best. I knew there had to be a better way.
That desire to raise standards led me to invest in my own skills, training with specialists across the UK to develop the knowledge and techniques needed to restore wood floors properly. Every course, every project and every lesson has reinforced the importance of doing things the right way rather than the quickest way.
Today, Touché Flooring reflects that approach. We focus on quality over quantity, taking the time to understand each floor, recommend the right solution and carry out every stage of the restoration with precision and care. Whether it's repairing original parquet, sanding period floorboards or applying the perfect finish, our aim is always the same: to achieve a result we're proud to put our name to.
When you choose Touché Flooring, you're getting more than a tradesperson. You're working with someone who genuinely cares about the finished result, respects your home and believes that great craftsmanship comes from taking pride in every detail.
For me, restoring a wood floor isn't just about improving how it looks today, it's about preserving it for many years to come.
